When you open your online store, you want to choose products that are going to sell, right? But what happens if your products aren’t selling online?
Drum roll, please my friend because I have the answer!!!!!!
In this episode, I tackle the 5 things to check if your products aren’t selling online with my guest, Angela Taylor.
Let me jump back for just a second to introduce you to Angela, who is one of my phenomenal students.
I had the chance to talk to Angela one-on-one about her business thanks to a hotseat session. What’s a hotseat session you ask?
Basically, it’s a time when I get to chat with someone about their online store and ecommerce business. These sessions happen during online training classes—and students are completely chosen at random, like we did here.
Ohmygosh– I have to tell you: Angela was SO nervous, so I’m gonna give her some extra props. She’s an introvert, just like me, so the idea of being front and center in front of people is hard. But she did great, as you’ll hear.
As we talked, Angela shared that she found herself a little stuck. She knew what she wanted to sell online, but she kept questioning whether to sell a single item or to combine items into a bundle—and even how many items should be put in the bundle.
And you know what? It’s pretty dang normal when you’re selling physical products online for the first time. It’s all part of figuring out what your customers prefer and what works for you.
In this podcast episode, you’ll learn the next steps I encouraged Angela to take—and discover why I say she is an action-taking rockstar!
Here are a just few of my insights from our convo—and I am pretty dang positive you’ll have a bunch more as you listen:
My takeaways:
- Ecommerce and introverts are perfect for each other.
- If something doesn’t sell, that’s an answer, not a failure.
- Make a commitment to do one thing—just one thing—on your business today.
